Friends of the Jackson County Public Library will have a special sale from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Friday and from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday in the large half of the Seymour Library Boardroom, 303 W. Second St.
There are no special sales hours reserved for Friends members on these dates. Items will be restocked continuously on each sale day.
Buyers in the room will be limited due to social distancing guidelines. Masks for fully immunized participants are optional.
Regular selling prices for the items are hardcover books for adults, soft-bound books and music CDs for $ 1, books for children and young adults and small paperbacks for 50 cents, and DVDs for $ 2 .
Anyone unable to visit the sale on any of these days or times can shop in the ongoing auctions in the Seymour Library Book Corner or in the Crothersville and Medora Library sales carts during the hours. normal.
Anyone interested in becoming a friend of the library or renewing their 2020-21 annual membership will find the forms for sale, at checkouts, or online at myjclibrary.org/friends. The annual membership fee is $ 5 for individuals, $ 10 for the family, $ 25 for the donor and $ 50 for the benefactor.
Donations for sales are now accepted during regular library hours. Monetary or item donations without membership or purchases are also welcome.
