As Halloween approaches, it’s time to check out some spooky books.

The Warren Public Library has exactly what the young Halloween enthusiast needs.

“Halloween is a week away. “ Children’s librarian Susan Slater said. “Stop by the children’s department at the Warren Public Library and check out some Halloween or spooky books.”

“The children’s department has Halloween books for younger and older children,” said Slater. “Some are pretty scary, while others are just for fun.”

“If you are looking for movies or audiobooks, we have them too” she said. “Adults can find several displays on the adult side of the library with spooky items available at checkout.”

The library even has some sort of treat opportunity. “Children who visit the children’s department on Saturday, October 30 between 10 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. will receive a bag of Halloween goodies and the option of choosing a free book to keep.”
