Revelations Entertainment Takes Over 1980s Horror Novel Series “Necroscope” – Deadline


EXCLUSIVE: Best-selling book by English author Brian Lumley Obituary The sci-fi / horror novel series is adapted by Morgan Freeman and Lori McCreary’s Revelations Entertainment across multiple mediums including episodic television, animated films, video games, graphic novels and emerging formats.

The 1980s series covers over 19 novels and short stories and has been translated into nine languages, and still in print today around the world as they are simultaneously released as audiobooks and in new collectible formats.

McCreary (Invictus, Madam Secretary) and Gary Lucchesi (Underworld, Million Dollar Baby, Emily Rose Exorcism) from Revelations team up with Glenn Hetrick (Star Trek Discovery, Face-to-Face) and Michael McKay (Underworld Blood Wars, The Boy) on the subsidiary rights long sought for Obituary novels they plan to develop. Hetrick conceptualized the adaptation of Obituary since its original release to the screen.
