This non-fiction novel debuted at number 3 on the New York Times bestseller list. The Boston Globe described the book as “funny, curious, scholarly, and full of useful details about ancient memory training techniques.” Foer talks about his own experience in improving his memory as he prepared to compete in the American Memory Championship.

Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Good by Gail Honeyman (2017)

For the reader addicted to watching reels on Instagram.

This book is the first novel by Gail Honeyman who won the Costa Debut Novel Award in 2017. Although the book is a realistic description of mental health, it is informed by humor. Less Andrew Sean Greer (2017)

For those who get absorbed in a book and forget the world.

A humorous romantic comedy about a middle-aged man who does everything to avoid going to the wedding of his ex-lover, Freddy. The book chronicles the satirical adventures of Arthur Less as he travels the world to attend literary events. The book won the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction in 2018 and was also a New York Times bestseller.
