Worried about what you are going to eat? This travel agency takes the stress out of a vegan vacation

Food is such a big part of the trip. But sometimes, if you have dietary requirements, traveling to certain countries can seem a little intimidating.

In many major cities around the world, vegan food is now available on every corner – but it’s not everywhere. Sometimes when you’re on vacation you just want to relax without having to think about where your next meal is coming from. It’s there that Vegan world travel Between.

What is World Vegan Travel?

World Vegan Travel is a luxury group travel company. Founders Brighde Reed and Sébastien Ranger have been vegans for over 13 years and have discovered through their own experiences that vegan travelers don’t always get the best quality experience for their money.

“I have never, never been hungry, never but I would say that [being vegan] required a little more effort, a little more planning, a little more research when it came to travel.

“It was part of the fun, but it’s not necessarily fun for everyone. Sometimes people just want to relax on vacation, which is one of the reasons we created World Vegan Travel, ”Brighde told Euronews Travel.

“My partner and I have always been passionate about travel. I was a coach for a travel agency in the early 2000s for about five years, ”adds Brighde.

“I also have training in education. My partner also has training in television production. And it all came together to create the vegan trip to the world. “

The advantages of group travel

While group travel may not seem like everyone’s cup of tea, Brighde, Sebastian, and their travelers have found that traveling with like-minded people creates a much more relaxing vegan environment for them.

“I think when you travel in a group […] vegans can often be quite careful around other people. They are very aware that their values conflict with others. And that can be a bit difficult sometimes. But when you travel with a lot of vegans, you can absolutely relax and unwind, ”says Brighde.

“I don’t know if I would have considered a group trip in another situation because […] you’re never quite sure that other people will be on your page. That was not a concern at all on this trip, ”says Doug, a traveler on one of WVT’s tours through France and Germany.

How is a vegan vacation different from a normal vacation?

World Vegan Travel spends months working with all of the hotels, restaurants and cafes on the travel itinerary to plan delicious, local-style, vegetarian meals.

“I realized there was a way to see the world you could go in as a vegan without having to worry about being a vegan at all,” says vegan traveler JL.

While on vacation in France, travelers enjoyed vegan fondue, tartiflette, foie gras, cheese boards, and famous French pastry. All the French classics.

Other aspects of the trip are also suitable. For example, choosing hotels with vegan furnishings – you won’t find animal trophies or leather couches here, and building the route to include learning about animal conservation in this area.

On certain holidays, World Vegan Travel takes over and vegetates an entire hotel for their trip.

“We stay in luxury accommodations that are often very unique, sometimes very, very boutique. So I think people can expect to be really, really pampered and feel very special, ”Brighde tells us.

World Vegan Travel’s previous tours have included Thailand, Vietnam, France, Germany, and Rwanda, including a visit to see wild gorillas. They also often team up with Colleen Patrick Goudreau, a popular vegan writer and podcaster on their tours to include speaking while on the trip.
