Young authors from Clifton Park pay tribute to dead neighbor with cute book

Sisters Adalyn and McKenna Vidoni were heartbroken when they learned of the death of their beloved neighbor, Miss Helen Hubert, in June.

The 10 and 8 year old girls decided to write about it.

The young writers at Clifton Park first thought about the things Miss Helen liked. This included flowers and Halloween, when she was handing out full-size candy bars.

“We thought it would be like a book that we write with normal pieces of paper and stuff. We didn’t really think it would go to Amazon or anything. Anyone could really do it,” he said. said Addie.

“It was pretty easy, but the money was a lot of money for the photos,” McKenna noted.

The story takes place on Halloween night. Addie and McKenna are trick-or-treating, and the last stop is always Miss Helen’s house.

However, they realize that Miss Helen is not there. It was then that they decided to carry on the tradition and distribute their own full-size chocolate bars.
Something the girls are planning to do for Halloween.
